State of Emergency Declared as Snowstorm Hits New York

Buffalo, NY – December 12, 2024: A powerful lake-effect snowstorm, the third in three weeks, is striking parts of New York state, prompting a state of emergency in several areas. Strong winds and heavy snow are hammering Great Lakes communities, including Buffalo, causing hazardous travel conditions and widespread disruptions.
