On Tuesday, June 11, at New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, Pakistan defeated Canada by 7 wickets in a thrilling match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

After being placed to bat first, Canada had difficulty and only scored 106-7 in the 20 overs that were given to them. The Pakistani bowlers played brilliantly, with Mohammad Amir taking the Player of the Match award for his remarkable three-wicket haul.

Pakistan’s batsmen displayed their talent and poise as they pursued a modest goal. With a vital fifty to support the innings, Muhammad Rizwan was instrumental. Pakistan easily won, reaching 107-3 and sealing the victory.
Mohammed Amir: Amir’s outstanding bowling stats were a major factor in keeping Canada to a modest score. Throughout their innings, the Canadian batters were concerned by his controlled line and length.
