Iran, China, Russia Launch Annual Naval Drills in Gulf of Oman

Iran, China, and Russia have commenced their annual Marine Security Belt naval exercises near the strategic Gulf of Oman. The drills, set to begin on Tuesday near Chabahar port, aim to enhance regional security and foster multilateral cooperation among the participating nations.

The Gulf of Oman is a vital waterway for global trade, particularly for oil exports, as it connects to the Strait of Hormuz, a critical shipping route.
