Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has raised alarm over North Korea’s deepening involvement in the war, claiming the country has progressed from supplying weapons to sending troops to aid Russian forces in Ukraine. During a recent speech, Zelenskyy highlighted the concerning evolution of North Korea’s support for Russia.
The Ukrainian leader expressed worry about the strengthening ties between Moscow and Pyongyang, cautioning that this alliance could intensify the ongoing conflict. In response, Zelenskyy called on Ukraine’s international partners to increase their backing, particularly through the provision of more sophisticated weaponry.
“To avert a wider conflict, we require more robust support for our military,” Zelenskyy emphasized, stressing the need to counterbalance Russia’s growing capabilities with enhanced international assistance.
