While serving an animal cruelty warrant, three DC officers were shot; the suspect barricaded

Three D.C. police officers were shot and injured early on Wednesday while executing an arrest warrant for animal cruelty, in a terrifying turn of events. Around 7:30 a.m., gunfire broke out from a house in the 5000 block of Hanna Place SE in Southeast Washington, D.C.
