Walmart introduced its newest addition to the New Home Office campus in a ground-breaking move that represents a major shift in the company’s emphasis on its employees’ overall wellness.
The Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness facility is expected to completely transform how employees and their families see wellness when it opens for business on January 12, 2024.
The Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness is a purpose-driven facility spanning 360,000 square feet. It provides a variety of programmes and resources that are carefully designed to assist the mind, body, and spirit of associates and their households. The opening of the facility is in line with Walmart’s long-standing dedication to improving the lives of its employees, continuing the tradition established by Sam and Helen Walton when they gave the Walton Life Fitness Centre to employees and their families nearly forty years ago.
A noteworthy element of the new facility is its design, informed by associate feedback, ensuring that the area caters to the specific needs and wishes of the Walmart community. Over 31,000 people’s lives are expected to be improved by the Whole Health facility, which embodies the company’s “live better” promise.
