A bold theory has emerged suggesting that Donald Trump could send nuclear weapons to Ukraine if he secures a return to the White House in 2025. Security expert Nicholas Drummond speculated that such a move could give Ukraine the upper hand in its ongoing conflict with Russia.
In an interview with The Daily Express, Drummond proposed that a secret deal might be struck, dramatically strengthening Ukraine’s position. He explained that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy could then claim, “We have nuclear weapons, and if you attack us, we will bomb Moscow.” While Drummond acknowledged the risks of supplying nuclear weapons, he argued it could restore power dynamics in the region.
As Trump prepares for his second term, his strategy remains unclear. The Wall Street Journal has reported that Trump may consider establishing a demilitarized zone between Russia and Ukraine. Furthermore, a source close to the incoming administration indicated that the U.S. could block Ukraine’s NATO membership for the next two decades.
Despite the uncertainty, Zelenskyy remains hopeful that the conflict could end next year, with Trump’s potential policies playing a pivotal role in shaping Ukraine’s future defense. If Trump follows through on these ideas, Ukraine’s military strength could receive a significant boost, altering the balance of power in the region.
