Trudeau’s Troubles Deepen: Canadians Demand Resignation

Read Time:43 Second

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s popularity has hit an all-time low, with the latest polling showing that most Canadians want him to resign. According to a recent Abacus Data poll, only 19% of Canadians believe Trudeau should stay on as Prime Minister, while a staggering 67% think he should step down ¹.

The poll also revealed that even among Liberal supporters, there is growing dissatisfaction with Trudeau’s leadership. A significant 39% of Liberal voters in Liberal-held ridings want their MP to call on Trudeau to resign ².

The Conservative Party has capitalized on Trudeau’s unpopularity, opening up a significant lead in the polls. If an election were held today, 45% of committed voters would vote Conservative, compared to 20% for the Liberals ¹. With Trudeau’s troubles mounting, it remains to be seen whether he will heed the calls for his resignation.
