“TikTok Rolls Out Group Chats for Up to 32 People and Introduces Stickers in DMs”

Read Time:1 Minute, 28 Second

A much-needed innovation that will improve user connections on TikTok is being unveiled. Group chats on the well-known social media platform are now available, enabling users to speak with up to 32 individuals at once. Even while not everyone has access to this function yet, those who do may have more engaging chats with several friends.

It’s simple to start a group chat on TikTok. Choose a name from your message list or hit the Chat button at the top of the screen to start a conversation from your inbox. Next, select which friends you want to add by clicking the “More options…” button, and then click “Start group chat.” As an alternative, you may share a post to start a group conversation. All you have to do is click the Share button on a video, choose “Create group chat,” choose your friends, add a message if you’d like, and begin talking.

Nevertheless, there are limitations on group chat invites. Invites are only available to those that follow you back. Users between the ages of 13 and 15 are also not able to utilize this service. In order to join the group, 16 and 17-year-olds must have at least one mutual buddy, and they must personally approve each invitation to a new member.

TikTok is improving its direct texting experience with stickers in addition to group conversations. By designing and sharing personalized stickers that may be used by others, users can now interact more graphically.

With these changes, TikTok is continuing to build out its communication tools, giving its user base throughout the world additional options for what to do with the app. As TikTok continues to roll out new features, keep an eye out for them in your app.
