Read Time:37 Second

At the “We, Robot” conference in California, Tesla unveiled its latest creation: the Cybercab robotaxi. This cutting-edge autonomous vehicle, devoid of conventional driving controls, was showcased by CEO Elon Musk. He emphasized the Cybercab’s potential to transform the transportation industry by offering costs comparable to public transit, with an estimated operational expense of just 20 cents per mile.

Musk announced that Tesla aims to market the Cybercab for less than $30,000. The company plans to commence production prior to 2027, with its Full Self-Driving technology first being implemented on other Tesla models in certain states. The Cybercab employs AI and vision-based systems, which contribute to its cost-effectiveness by eliminating the need for pricier sensors and radar equipment.
