In Alfafara, floodwaters and thick mud have completely engulfed streets, leaving cars stranded in positions beyond recovery. This disaster is being described as one of the most severe weather events to hit the area in recent European history.
The scene looks catastrophic, with vehicles abandoned in the middle of flooded streets, some entirely submerged. “A glimpse into life after the storm,” said local resident Mónica, who filmed the harrowing aftermath. Emergency teams are working relentlessly to clear the area and assist residents who have been forced to evacuate.
