Sephora Reveals the Magnificent Makeover of Their Flagship Champs-Élysées Store

The well-known beauty brand Sephora has opened its magnificently remodeled flagship location on Paris’ Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Just in time for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, where Sephora is thrilled to be the official partner of the Olympic Torch Relay, the store has undergone months of rigorous renovations that have resulted in a fully reimagined shopping experience.



With features like stone paving and metal accents inspired by the 19th century, the landmark store, which initially opened its doors in 1996, has received its first full restoration. Customers are guided to an amazing beauty hub at the middle of the structure by a central aisle that is 2.6 meters wide, evoking the renowned address. It resembles a contemporary Arc de Triomphe of beauty.

The iconic rainbow colors, the black and white striped pattern, and the brand flame are all perfectly incorporated into the new store design by Sephora. “Innovation is at the heart of Sephora’s DNA,” says Guillaume Motte, CEO and President of the firm, highlighting the dedication to consistently reimagining the upscale cosmetics shopping experience.



The newly remodeled store has themed areas for services, cosmetics, haircare, fragrance, skincare, and more. Sephora has carefully chosen an amazing selection of high-end beauty brands to showcase in these areas. Exclusive labels like Maison Francis Kurkdjian will only be offered at this location to commemorate the flagship’s reopening.

Furthermore, the remodeling clearly demonstrates Sephora’s commitment to sustainable development, with a goal of a 50% reduction in the store’s energy usage. Sephora’s dedication to environmental sustainability is demonstrated by the use of the newest LED technology, fewer screens, and cutting-edge elements like a sizable transparent and illuminated sliding door at the entry.
