Mumbai, India – Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is recovering well after a terrifying attack at his residence in Mumbai early Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 2:30 am when an intruder broke into the actor’s apartment and stabbed him multiple times.

According to reports, Saif was at home with his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their two young sons, Taimur and Jeh. The actor reportedly heard a commotion in his son Jeh’s room and rushed to investigate. He encountered the intruder and a struggle ensued, during which Saif sustained several stab wounds.

Dr. Nitin Dange, one of the neurosurgeons who treated Saif, stated, “A knife lodged dangerously close to his thoracic spine was successfully removed during neurosurgery.” He further added that Saif’s condition has improved significantly and that he is now stable enough to be moved out of the ICU to a regular hospital room.
