Le’Veon Bell Defends Trump and Musk

Read Time:54 Second

Former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell has publicly defended President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, calling for an end to criticism directed at both men.

Bell’s comments come as Musk begins his role leading the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which aims to reduce federal spending through significant staff reductions across government agencies—actions that have generated mixed reactions.

President Trump’s administration has implemented several contentious policies since his recent return to office, including prohibiting transgender women from women’s sports competitions and exiting the Paris Climate Agreement.

On Monday, the former Pittsburgh Steelers star posted on X: “Elon doin too much for this world for y’all to be hatin,” followed by similar sentiments about Trump. Musk responded with “Thanks” and a prayer emoji.

Bell, who appeared at a Trump campaign event in October, joins other former Steelers including Antonio Brown in supporting Trump. Additional athletic figures like Adam “Pacman” Jones and the 49ers’ Nick Bosa have also expressed their backing of the president.

The endorsement from Bell highlights the ongoing polarization surrounding Trump’s policies and Musk’s government efficiency efforts.
