Real Madrid beat Real Sociedad 2-0, with Kylian Mbappé playing exceptionally well. It was their first away win of the 2023–24 season. After getting off to a slow start, the French forward has been finding his flow. He showed off his amazing skills, which helped Madrid get closer to Barcelona at the top of the table.
After having a rough start to the season, Mbappé seemed to get back to normal, building on his two-goal showing against Real Betis. His newfound confidence shone through as he used his speed and skill to hurt the Sociedad defense.
Mbappé played very well in the second half after a quiet first half. Sociedad’s players couldn’t keep up with him because of how fast he was and how well he moved his feet. At one point, Mbappé dribbled past his defender with ease, getting around Jon Aramburu and getting through the defense. He never stopped attacking, which got Real Madrid closer to winning.
Vinícius Junior scored the first goal from the penalty spot in the 58th minute, but Mbappé’s play was the real star. His technical skill and energy were big parts of Madrid’s win, giving fans hope that the French forward is getting back to the form that made him a star at Paris Saint-Germain.
Even though Mbappé got off to a slow start in La Liga, Cristiano Ronaldo thinks the Frenchman will soon find his rhythm and shine at Real Madrid. With this game, Mbappé’s comeback looks like it’s in full swing, giving Madrid fans hope for a good season ahead.
