Kase introduces its first camera lens, a 200mm f/5.6 mirror telephoto!

Read Time:1 Minute, 3 Second

In an unexpected move, famous filter manufacturer Kase enters the world of camera lenses with the launching of its first product, the Kase 200mm f/5.6 MC reflex mirror lens. This revolutionary lens, which is available for Canon RF, Canon EF, Nikon Z, Sony E, Fujifilm GF, and Fujifilm X mounts, challenges conventional wisdom about mirror lenses.

Mirror lenses have long been a source of contention in the photographic community, noted for their compactness but also criticized for their distinctive optical properties. The Kase 200mm f/5.6 sets new standards with its short focal length and compact form, measuring only 98 x 69 x 69mm and weighing around 425g.

With a fixed aperture of f/5.6, the Kase lens creates a characteristic bokeh effect with donut-shaped highlights, bringing a creative touch to photographs.

Its manual-focus architecture, which consists of six parts divided into five groups, ensures color neutrality and softness at the subject’s boundaries.

The Kase 200mm f/5.6 is ideal for photographing flowers, landscapes, and portraits, and it promises to add a painting feel to out-of-focus areas. Prices for this innovative lens range from $749 to $800, depending on the mount, making it affordable to photographers looking for fresh creative potential.
