Huge Hail Hits Towns in North Texas

Read Time:37 Second

On Thursday night, severe weather moved into North Texas, causing a flurry of huge hail to fall on several communities in the area.

Hailstones up to the size of golf balls were reported to have fallen in Little Elm, Oak Point, Frisco, Lantana, Prosper, Corinth, and Roanoke, among other locations.

People in North Texas documented the storm’s ferocity by sending pictures of the hail-covered countryside to WFAA. A gallery illustrating the hailstorm’s extensive effects has been assembled, providing insight into the magnitude of the meteorological phenomenon.

The ‘Near Me’ button on the WFAA app invites anyone who would like to share images or videos of the hail in their region with the community and help with the coverage of this severe weather event.
