“How to Watch the ‘It’s Glowtime’ Apple Event and the iPhone 16 Launch”

Read Time:1 Minute, 57 Second

Tech fans are getting ready for the big reveal of the iPhone 16 at Apple’s much-anticipated “It’s Glowtime” event coming up soon. The event will happen at the famous Steve Jobs Theatre at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, on September 9, 2024, at 1 PM ET (10 AM PT). If you can’t wait to see everything, you can watch the show live on Apple’s website or YouTube.

What to Look Forward to at the “It’s Glowtime” Event

Apple is likely to show off a bunch of new gadgets, including the long-awaited iPhone 16 line, which will probably have four models:

  • iPhone 16
  • iPhone 16 Plus
  • iPhone 16 Pro
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max

The iPhone 16 series won’t be very different from the iPhone 15, but it will have a more powerful chip and the screen sizes may be slightly different. Also, rumours are going around that the Pro models will get a separate camera button, which would make taking pictures easier.

Apple is expected to show off new versions of the Apple Watch at the same time as the new iPhones. There is talk that the Apple Watch Series 10 (which could be called the “Series X”) and a Ultra 3 model will be released. It is also likely that there will be new AirPods, both basic and Pro models.

Why you should wait to buy

Now might not be the best time to buy an iPhone if you’re thinking about it. Since the iPhone 16 is coming out in just a few days, it might be smarter to wait. The price of the iPhone 15 is likely to go down once the new iPhones come out. This way, you can choose between the newest technology and a cheaper, but still powerful, device.

Apple Intelligence and iOS 18

You can still look forward to the iOS 18 update, which is due out later in September, even if you don’t plan to buy any new devices this year. The update will add important features, such as Apple Intelligence and more ways to customise the home screen. Only smartphones that are eligible will get the update, so check to see if your iPhone is one of them.
