In a live demonstration, a Google representative asked the Assistant to “explain the solar system to a third grader” and followed up with, “Why is Earth special?” The AI maintained the context of the conversation, providing a simplified and cohesive answer tailored to the initial query.
Beyond answering questions, the AI integrates visual aids into the experience. For example, asking for “kid-friendly movies like Jurassic Park” or “vacation destinations with beaches and hiking” brought up curated suggestions, complete with a row of related YouTube videos ready to play.
One standout addition is the AI-powered news brief. By saying, “Hey Google, show me my news brief,” users receive a concise summary of the top five news stories of the day.
