The Met Office has issued amber wind warnings for portions of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and northern and western England as Storm Isha, the ninth storm since September, approaches, amid a succession of concerning developments. The alert has been extended to coastal areas by the amber warnings, which are in effect from Sunday into Monday.
