Jen Rubin, a right writer, says that Donald Trump might have a big “October surprise” planned, and it doesn’t look good for J.D. Vance. During a recent interview on MSNBC, Rubin, who was a conservative voice before Trump came along, talked about how Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s support for Trump might affect the 2024 presidential race.
Rubin brought up recent polls that show Vice President Kamala Harris is ahead of Trump in a made-up two-way fight. Rubin said that Kennedy’s popularity drops as more people learn about him, which could hurt Trump’s campaign. However, Rubin’s most shocking forecast was about Vance. She thought that Trump might choose the Ohio senator as part of a “October surprise” to make the race more interesting.
Rubin warned, “If I were J.D. Vance, I would just hold on to the phone.” He was implying that Trump might use Vance in a last-minute move to get an advantage. It’s still not clear what this possible surprise is, but it could cause problems for Vance as the election draws near.
Everyone is looking at Trump and what he’s going to do next because the race for 2024 is getting tough. There is also growing talk of a surprise in October. Vance could be in the middle of a high-stakes political move because of his close ties to Trump.
