The legendary Circuit de la Sarthe is set for a major transformation ahead of the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours. Following extensive fan feedback, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) has revealed comprehensive upgrades designed to elevate the spectator experience at the World Endurance Championship’s premier event.
Central to these improvements is an innovative viewing area at the renowned Porsche Curves. For the first time, fans will enjoy access to an interior grass bank offering prime views of cars exiting this challenging sequence. The new vantage point, accessible through the Circuit Alain Prost sector without additional fees, comes complete with amenities including a large display screen, restrooms, and refreshment facilities.
Complementing this development, Maison Blanche will feature new elevated grandstands overlooking the Porsche Curves. While requiring a separate ticket, these stands provide an unmatched perspective of the high-speed action, enhanced by the installation of a large screen.
The circuit’s opening sector sees the introduction of a “Chill Zone” at Tertre Rouge’s Turn 7. This expansive fan area, accommodating over 10,000 visitors, replaces the existing campsite and offers complimentary access along with food, drinks, and race coverage on a giant screen. Previous campers will be relocated to alternative sites to facilitate this enhancement.
These developments come as Ferrari prepares to defend its consecutive victories at the 2025 edition, scheduled for June 14-15. Enthusiasts can secure their spots starting November 13, when general ticket sales begin for what promises to be an enhanced Le Mans experience.
