A British Airways supervisor is allegedly on the run in India after being apprehended in connection with a £3 million immigration scam that he allegedly orchestrated from Heathrow Airport. The person allegedly carried out the scheme over a five-year period, working out of a check-in desk at Terminal 5.

Accounts suggest that he enabled unauthorized travel from the UK to Canada, charging a fee of £25,000 per person. Sources state that the scam involved helping mostly Indian passengers to fly to the UK on temporary visas before arranging their travel to Canada, where they would allegedly claim asylum upon arrival in Toronto or Vancouver.
