Read Time:54 Second

Celebrated actor Keanu Reeves, 60, made his first appearance in professional auto racing on Saturday at the renowned Indianapolis Motor Speedway, participating in the Toyota GR Cup. The star of “The Matrix” franchise experienced a minor setback when he spun out on Turn 9 during the 45-minute race. However, Reeves managed to avoid a collision and swiftly rejoined the competition unharmed.

Beginning in 31st position out of 35 competitors, Reeves managed to advance to 21st place at one point and successfully evaded a collision in the opening lap. He concluded the race in 25th place, driving his No. 92 BRZRKR vehicle, which also served to promote his graphic novel “The Book of Elsewhere.”

Reeves is racing alongside Cody Jones from “Dude Perfect” and is scheduled for another race on Sunday. This isn’t his first time on a racetrack; he previously won the celebrity race at the 2009 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Following his racing endeavors, Reeves is set to attend a 30th-anniversary screening of “Speed” in Los Angeles, where he’ll reunite with his co-star Sandra Bullock.
