Judge Orders Deportation of Venezuelan Influencer Who Mocked U.S.

Read Time:46 Second

In shocking news, an Ohio judge has ordered the removal of Leonel Moreno, a Venezuelan immigrant who became famous on social media for bragging about getting help from the U.S. government and telling other migrants to sleep in empty houses. The 27-year-old illegally entered the U.S. through Texas in April 2022. In 2024, he went popular for sharing inflammatory TikTok videos that made fun of America and people who work hard.

Moreno was arrested in March because he didn’t show up for interviews with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that were required of him. Even though the deportation order is set for September 9, the process is still unclear because Venezuela, under President Nicolás Maduro, won’t let deported refugees board planes.

Before they were taken down, Moreno’s social media sites had more than 500,000 fans. He still brags about how much money he makes on Facebook and Instagram, though.
