During a panel discussion in Bogotá, Colombia, Prince Harry expressed worries about social media’s divisive character and artificial intelligence (AI). The Duke of Sussex emphasized the possible risks of artificial intelligence (AI) in a speech with his wife, Meghan Markle, and Colombia’s vice president, Francia Márquez. He said, “AI is scary, and I think a lot of people are scared and uncertain.”
Harry underlined how social media contributes to the spread of false information and societal divides. The couple’s travel to Colombia at Márquez’s invitation began with the conversation at EAN University. In addition, the royal couple went to a school and took part in cultural events, such as a performance of traditional Colombian dance. They will go to Cali for the Petronio Alvarez festival, which honors Afro-Colombian music and culture, as part of their extended stay.
Vice President Márquez acknowledged their work to address global challenges such as prejudice and cyberbullying and expressed thanks for their visit.
