Numerous People Shot and Killed in South Charlotte Shooting

At least two persons have died in a horrific shooting that happened in south Charlotte early on Saturday morning. Following the incident at around three in the morning near the 8600 block of Lodge South Circle, emergency personnel carried three people to the hospital.

Major Dave Johnson claims that the incident happened amid a parking lot altercation between two parties. Responding swiftly to the gunshots, officers who were in the area for another call found the victims at an apartment block close to East Arrowood Road.

Although there are currently few details available on the occurrence, it is known that one person died at the spot from their injuries, and another person passed away in the hospital. There are now four victims in total, including two more who are critically injured.

Though the public has been reassured by the authorities that there is no continuing threat, the size of the crime scene necessitates careful processing time. Major Johnson underlined that there are a lot of unresolved problems and that this is a work in progress.
