Read Time:2 Minute, 10 Second

According to regional authorities on July 18, at least one person has died and at least 35 people, including children, have been injured as a result of Russian strikes around Ukraine during the last day. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 16 Shahed-type drones, two Kh-59/69 cruise missiles, and one Kh-35 cruise missile were used in the assaults. The two Kh-59/69 missiles and all of the drones above the oblasts of Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, and Kharkiv were successfully brought down by Ukrainian air defenses.

According to Governor Serhii Lysak, two individuals, ages 51 and 60, were hurt by missile and drone assaults in the Nikopol region of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight on July 18. A two-story structure, homes, farm buildings, and other civilian property were damaged in the assaults. According to Governor Vadym Filashkin, 19 persons were hurt by Russian attacks in Donetsk Oblast during the course of the last day. Among the settlements where the casualties occurred were six in Pokrovsk, three in Novofedorivka, two in Novozhelanne, two in Mykhailivka, and two in Pleshchiivka.

Governor Oleh Syniehubov of Kharkiv Oblast reported that in the early hours of July 18, an attack on the Hlushkivka hamlet resulted in the death of a 60-year-old lady and the injuries of two males, ages 69 and 80. According to reports, an attack on the settlement of Petropavlivka resulted in injuries to another woman.

According to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin, six persons in Kherson Oblast were hurt by Russian attacks during the course of the previous day. The attacks caused damage to homes, high-rise structures, and other property, including an agricultural company. Governor Artem Lysohor acknowledged that during artillery and drone attacks on the village of Nevske in Luhansk Oblast, a male approximately fifty years old sustained injuries. The ongoing conflict’s catastrophic effects on civilians are highlighted by Russia’s persistent attacks against several regions of Ukraine. Although the threat has diminished due to the Ukrainian government’ efforts to identify and destroy incoming missiles and drones, there is still a major risk. The international community is still keeping a careful eye on things and pushing for a peaceful end to the crisis.
