LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels has addressed recent media rumors about his possible landing place as excitement for the 2024 NFL Draft grows. The Washington Commanders, who will select second overall, are interested in Daniels since there have been circulating rumors regarding his preferences.
Daniels made it clear on Wednesday that he is ready to seize any chance that presents itself, despite reports to the contrary. Speaking alongside Special Olympics competitors at the “Play Football” event, Daniels declared that he is ready to play to the best of his ability no matter where he is selected in the draft.
Daniels told reporters, “I’m blessed to go wherever I’m called.” “Whoever calls my phone, (when the) commissioner gets up and says my name, I’ll be blessed, and they’re going to get my all.”
Dispelling any perception of bias toward a specific organization, Daniels expressed his appreciation for the chance to follow his NFL goals. He didn’t waver in his resolve to succeed wherever his career as a professional football player leads him.
While his draft destination remained a mystery, Daniels thought back on his experiences with a number of teams, such as the Commanders and the Raiders of Las Vegas. Daniels acknowledged that playing in a Kliff Kingsbury scheme was familiar, but he stayed vague about possible draft possibilities.
Daniels joked, “I’m just like y’all, I really don’t know what’s going to happen,” alluding to the unpredictable nature of draft day results.
